Chapter 127: Dare to Lay a Hand on Me
“So, you’re saying that this eldest son of the Yan family harassed someone, but it’s actually someone else’s fault?” Lin Feng furrowed his brow and asked seriously.
“Of course not. My father told me to handle this matter. No matter who he is, if he’s at fault, he must be arrested,” Fang Huihui stated bluntly.
“In that case, you can handle it yourself. Why send me?” Lin Feng asked in puzzlement.
“Are you dense? Su Qingsue was harassed too. Aren’t you going to comfort her? Maybe she’s drunk right now. If you can cheer her up, she might just give herself to you,” Fang Huihui shot him a sidelong glance.
“You’re imagining things. She and I are just ordinary friends,” Lin Feng replied coldly.
“Don’t pretend. You’re living together, and you say you’re just friends? Men are all the same, can’t control their lower half. I hope you’re not a scoundrel,” Fang Huihui said coldly, then sped the car up a little.
Lin Feng was inwardly amazed. He hadn’t expected this woman to have investigated him so thoroughly, even knowing that he was living with Su Qingsue. It seemed her suspicion about his identity was quite serious.
Ten minutes later, she brought Lin Feng to the entrance of the Heaven on Earth bar. As soon as they got out of the car, she dashed quickly toward the bar.
Inside, chaos had already erupted. The bar manager, upon learning that Young Master Yan had been assaulted, personally came down to apologize, hoping for his forgiveness.
“Young Master Yan, I sincerely apologize. This is entirely the responsibility of our bar. Please forgive us,” the manager explained respectfully.
“Cut the nonsense. How do you run this bar? You actually let some harlot smash my head? Either have that harlot come over and keep me company so I can enjoy myself properly, or shut the place down immediately,” Yan Jiangbo shouted furiously.
The manager broke out in cold sweat, and no one around dared to utter a word.
After a moment, the manager forced a polite smile. “Young Master Yan, please calm down. This is manageable. I will take care of it right now.”
He then cast an angry glance at the already drunk Su Qingsue nearby, his eyes flashing coldly. He waved to his men. “You, go over and arrest that woman. Tell her to obediently keep Young Master Yan company tonight, or she’ll regret it.”
“Yes, Manager Zhao,” the men nodded and approached Su Qingsue, patting her shoulder sternly. “Hey, wake up quickly. You’ve caused big trouble. Come with us immediately and obediently sleep with Young Master Yan tonight.”
“Pah!” Su Qingsue, still hazy from the alcohol but conscious, pointed angrily at Yan Jiangbo. “He harassed me first. Why are you arresting me? You should be going after him.”
“You little brat, you don’t even realize how big a mess you’ve made. Do you know who Young Master Yan is? No one in Jiangcheng dares to provoke him.”
“It’s your honor that Young Master Yan is giving you a chance to reform. Why aren’t you cherishing it?”
The manager stepped forward, sneering mockingly. After a couple of prompts from Yan Jiangbo, he ordered, “Ignore her. Take her to the upstairs private room and strip her clothes off.”
“When Young Master Yan gets up there, she’ll learn the consequence of offending him.”
“Yes, Manager Zhao,” the men replied and began dragging Su Qingsue away.
She struggled fiercely. “Let me go! My boyfriend is coming soon. If he finds out you’re bullying me, he’ll kill you.”
“Still defiant at death’s door. Even if your boyfriend comes, all he can do is watch as Young Master Yan plays with you. Take her away.”
“Stop! All of you, stop!” At that moment, a cold, sharp female voice rang out from outside.
Everyone turned to see Fang Huihui standing solemnly before them. She took out her badge and snorted coldly. “How dare you bully this young lady in public?”
“P-Police Officer Fang?”
The manager saw Fang Huihui’s badge and immediately panicked. He quickly changed his expression and smiled as he approached her. “Officer Fang, it’s a misunderstanding. This is all a mistake.”
“I’m not here to arrest her. This is all Young Master Yan’s doing.”
“Hmph, that Young Master Yan?” Fang Huihui feigned ignorance.
“You mean Young Master Yan of the Yan family, one of the four major families in the provincial capital? Haven’t you heard of him, Officer Fang?” the manager forced a laugh.
“I haven’t. If anyone breaks the law, I must arrest them. So he’s Young Master Yan? Please come with me,” Fang Huihui said directly, stepping up to Yan Jiangbo with a cold glare.
“Who do you think you are, daring to make me come with you? Do you know who I am? Go get your boss,” Yan Jiangbo sneered fearlessly, believing he could act arrogantly in Jiangcheng.
Smack!
Without hesitation, Fang Huihui delivered a crisp slap to his face, instantly sobering him up.
A few seconds later, she continued, “Now do you know who you are?”
“You… you dare hit me?” Yan Jiangbo, still not grasping the gravity of the situation, barely finished speaking before Fang Huihui kicked him sharply in the ribs.
He immediately collapsed to the ground in pain, his face flushed as he shouted, “How dare you! I’m from the Yan family...”
Slap! Slap! Slap!
Fang Huihui struck his face repeatedly, more than a dozen times. The pain became unbearable, and he cried out, “I’m sorry! I know I was wrong! Please spare me!”
“Hmph, overestimating yourself,” Fang Huihui said as she handcuffed him, preparing to take him away immediately.
Just then, Lin Feng entered with an icy expression, his tone sharp, “Hold on a moment.”
“Lin Feng? What do you want to do?” Fang Huihui sensed a bad omen from his cold gaze.
“Letting him off so easily after bullying someone? That’s too lenient.”
Lin Feng clenched his fists until the knuckles cracked and slowly approached Yan Jiangbo. He said to Fang Huihui, “Why not hand him over to me? I’ll deal with him and bring him back to the police station afterwards.”
“Um...” Fang Huihui hesitated, guessing his intention, but after a few seconds, she decided to cooperate. Suddenly, she clutched her abdomen and said, “I have a stomach ache. You watch over him for me. I’ll come back to take him myself later.”
“All right.”
Lin Feng nodded. After she disappeared, he suddenly grabbed Yan Jiangbo by the throat, lifting him up and demanding, “So you’re the one who bullied Qingsue?”
“Who… who are you? I’m telling you, if you dare lay a finger on me, the Yan family won’t let you off.”
Snap!
Lin Feng twisted Yan Jiangbo’s arm, breaking it with a crack. The pain made him sweat profusely as he screamed like a slaughtered pig.
Tears streamed down his face. Who had he offended to deserve such punishment? Didn’t his father say no one in Jiangcheng dared to touch him?
