Chapter 140: A Subtle Sensation
Xiong Dabiao was about to say something else when a fierce roar rang out.
"Do it!"
Before Xiong Dabiao could react, a figure lunged at him with a slash.
Qin Tong and the others also struck instantly, showing no surprise whatsoever, as if the whole thing had been meticulously planned.
Xiong Dabiao did not even have time to register his anger; he hurriedly retreated to dodge the blade.
However, Qin Tong's follow-up attack came hard on the heels of the first. Despite Xiong Dabiao's best efforts to evade, his chest was still slashed open.
"Damn it! Cowards!"
Xiong Dabiao clutched his wound and staggered backward, but the two attackers clung to him like venomous serpents, relentlessly hacking away.
Xiong Dabiao's subordinates finally snapped to their senses and rushed forward to intervene.
Yet these men were at most Tier 5; how could they possibly match Qin Tong and his faction?
Anyone who stepped up to block was sent flying by a single blow.
It bought Xiong Dabiao mere seconds of breathing room—just enough for him to widen the distance between them.
Just when Xiong Dabiao thought he had a chance to escape, a powerful torrent of water washed away everyone in his path and surged straight toward him.
"Ah!"
Accompanied by a miserable scream, Xiong Dabiao felt as though he had been struck by a truck. He was sent flying backward, crashing into a large crowd of people before finally coming to a halt.
Lying on the ground, blood continuously welled from the corners of Xiong Dabiao's mouth.
At this moment, his entire body trembled violently. He tried to stand, but his limbs refused to obey; after a brief struggle, he collapsed back onto the earth.
Xiong Dabiao raised his head toward the source of the attack, knowing that the Tier 7 powerhouse had made a move.
However, his vision was completely blurred; the figure appeared in overlapping layers, making it impossible to distinguish the attacker clearly.
With no other choice, he could only lie flat on the ground as agonizing pain racked his brain.
The surrounding area descended into chaos. From time to time, he saw figures sent flying through the air and heard a chorus of shrieks.
Though he could not see clearly, he could tell from their voices that these were his own men.
Filled with grief and indignation, he wished he could hack Qin Tong to pieces.
Yet lying there, he was utterly helpless.
He could not even prop himself up. He felt as though every bone in his body had been shattered by that single water pillar, draining him of even the slightest ounce of strength.
As Qin Tong batted away Xiong Dabiao's remaining men, he burst into a wild, arrogant laugh.
The humiliation he had suffered last time would be fully repaid today!
Before he could laugh for long, however, a gigantic bird descended from the sky, carrying a figure on its back.
Lu Sheng's abrupt appearance in the center of the battlefield forced both sides to pause.
Sensing the formidable aura of the massive bird beneath the newcomer, Qin Tong frowned involuntarily.
Before he could utter a word, the man waved his hand, and a vast horde of monsters instantly materialized around them.
"Tier 6......!"
Qin Tong swallowed hard, a wave of tension washing over him. Even Qin钊, the Tier 7 warrior, wore a grim expression.
Qin钊 stepped forward and said in a low voice, "Brother, what is the meaning of this?"
Lu Sheng sneered, "What am I doing? That is the question I should be asking you."
"Attack! Break their limbs!"
Lu Sheng had no intention of exchanging pleasantries; breaking their limbs first was the priority.
Qin钊's heart skipped a beat. Realizing the situation had turned dire, he immediately prepared to slip away.
Facing so many Tier 6 monsters, even a Tier 7 like him could not hope to come out unscathed.
"Run!"
Qin钊 believed that with his Tier 7 strength, escaping would pose no real difficulty.
However, Lu Sheng was well aware of his Tier 7 status and had long since designated him as a primary target.
Aside from three Tier 7 Boarmen, ten peak Tier 6 monsters were assigned specifically to attend to him.
The moment he moved, Qin钊 felt a chilling sense of despair.
He could not help but cry out for mercy, "Brother, we have no grudge between us! Why are you targeting me?"
Ignoring him entirely, Lu Sheng walked straight toward Xiong Dabiao.
Surrounding Xiong Dabiao, his subordinates grew excited and called out respectfully,
"Lord Lu Sheng!"
Lying on the ground, Xiong Dabiao heard the shouts of his men and realized Lu Sheng had arrived.
A wave of relief washed over him; he knew he was saved.
Yet his vision remained stubbornly blurred and layered, preventing him from seeing anything clearly. He wondered if his eyes had been injured.
Frowning, Lu Sheng walked over and gasped upon seeing Xiong Dabiao's injuries—they were horrifyingly severe.
Xiong Dabiao's entire chest and the ribs across his front were caved inward.
Some of the broken bone ends had even pierced through the skin and protruded outward.
Every single wound was a shock to the senses.
Fortunately, healing medicines in this world could mend virtually any injury.
Whether it was a fracture or a dislocation, utilizing a healing skill or a treatment card would do the trick.
However, he did not happen to have a Tier 6 healing card on hand.
Still, the medicinal fluid squeezed out by Gangya seemed remarkably potent; he could give that a try.
He had tested it once before and found it exceptionally effective.
With that thought, he summoned Gangya. The onlookers stared in puzzlement at the suddenly materialized, massive monster that bore a resemblance to a giant tusked boar.
Under Lord Lu Sheng's direction, Gangya straddled Xiong Dabiao's front, and Lu Sheng propped Xiong Dabiao up.
Next, Lu Sheng guided Xiong Dabiao to take hold of the beast's appendage in his mouth, followed by a low command from Lu Sheng.
"Suck hard!"
The expressions of the surrounding spectators turned somewhat peculiar, and their gazes toward Xiong Dabiao grew complex.
Every now and then, cryptic smiles crept onto their faces as their minds wandered to unknown places.
Xiong Dabiao's vision was so poor at the moment that he had no inkling of what was right in front of him.
He only knew that some object was blocking his line of sight.
Then, Lu Sheng lifted his upper body, and his mouth seemed to brush against something soft.
Immediately afterward, Lu Sheng instructed him to take it in his mouth and suck hard.
Though clueless about what Lu Sheng was up to, Xiong Dabiao naturally obeyed without hesitation.
Once he performed the action, however, his expression turned subtle.
He knew very well what he was doing.
Whose could this possibly be, though?
This sensation was unlike anything he had ever experienced with anyone else.
A blush of shame crept over Xiong Dabiao, but thankfully the surroundings were quiet; Lu Sheng must have isolated them from the others.
Naturally. Such an intimate affair—how could he possibly let anyone else witness it?
Yet, surely this could not belong to Lu Sheng, right?
Impossible, impossible. Lu Sheng was a pure-blooded man; it must be some strange concoction he had conjured up.
Pushing aside these wandering thoughts, Xiong Dabiao began to suck with all his might.
Only when a sense of fullness settled in did Xiong Dabiao finally stop.
Seeing him pause, Lu Sheng asked curiously, "What's wrong? Why did you stop?"
Embarrassed, Xiong Dabiao replied, "I'm full."
Why on earth did Brother Lu have to stand there and watch? What a bizarre fetish.
Hearing Xiong Dabiao's words, the bystanders wore even more eccentric expressions, plunging into a profound and uncanny silence.
Lu Sheng nodded, dismissed Gangya, and asked out of curiosity, "Do you feel anything?"
Xiong Dabiao answered sheepishly, "What kind of feeling could there be? It's just soft, like drinking a beverage through a straw."
Veins bulged on Lu Sheng's forehead: "I am asking how your body feels! Is it getting better?"
Xiong Dabiao's face instantly flushed red, and he wished he could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.
After carefully inspecting his condition, Xiong Dabiao said earnestly, "I just feel a warm sensation throughout my body. A wave of warmth is flowing through all my limbs and bones, heading straight to my crown. My vision seems to be gradually clearing up, and my other injuries are constantly healing."
Lu Sheng's expression turned somewhat strange. "In other words, you couldn't see what was happening just now?"
No wonder Xiong Dabiao had sucked without hesitation—it turned out he simply couldn't see.
Lu Sheng had actually thought this chieftain was unusually unconstrained and informal.
He wondered how Xiong Dabiao would react if he ever discovered the truth.
Xiong Dabiao blinked in surprise. "That's right. Is there a problem?"
Lu Sheng quickly replied, "No problem, no problem at all. It's better that you didn't see."
Xiong Dabiao paused, catching the underlying implication. Indeed, it was for the best that he hadn't seen.
Such an awkward situation—the other party must have found it equally mortifying.
With that thought, he dropped the subject.
Meanwhile, Lu Sheng carefully observed Xiong Dabiao's injuries.
Under normal circumstances, even with treatment cards, injuries this severe would require at least ten days or half a month of convalescence.
Yet right now, those wounds were recovering visibly to the naked eye, enveloped in a layer of milky-white radiance.
Every single second brought a completely renewed state to those gashes.
This undeniable proof left Lu Sheng marveling at the formidable potency of Gangya's skill.
At the same time, the horse bandits had essentially all had their limbs crippled by Lu Sheng's subordinates.
Only a single Tier 7 warrior was still putting up a stubborn defense.
He wielded water-style laws with exquisite dexterity, using them to deflect incoming attacks and launch counterstrikes.
Every offensive directed at him was neutralized by his water laws, while he managed to retaliate from time to time.
This could not help but elicit Lu Sheng's admiration for the man's strength.
To be able to put up such resistance while surrounded by overwhelming force was remarkable.
Regrettably, death was merely a matter of time.
Qin钊 was still roaring in resentful despair, pleading for Lu Sheng to spare him.
Lu Sheng, however, had no such intention and simply stood on the sidelines to watch the show.
The three Tier 7 Boarmen were growing irritated. The three of them combined with so many helpers still couldn't take down a single opponent?
Did that not make the three of them look like useless fools?
Unable to stomach the insult, the three Tier 7 Boarmen unleashed their full power, their bodies swelling as they pressed the attack.
Qin钊's heart pounded with alarm as he watched the three Tier 7s suddenly expand, sensing that things had taken a turn for the worse.
As the three massive Boarmen advanced step by step, an oppressive weight crushed down upon him.
With every step they took, he felt himself drawing closer to death.
He still wanted to resist, to break through the encirclement.
Yet, leaving aside the three Tier 7s, over a hundred Tier 6 entities were not about to stand idly by.
The moment he made the slightest movement to flee, an overwhelming barrage of attacks would rain down on him, forcing him back.
They drove him right back to his original spot.
He was left with not even a sliver of a chance to escape.
At that moment, true despair gripped him.
Watching the Boarmen close in for the kill, he completely unraveled.
Desperate, he began channeling the power within his body recklessly.
The only way to escape was to eliminate the enemies in front of him.
Yet all his efforts were entirely futile.
Within moments, his limbs were shattered by the three muscle-bound Boarmen, and he was tossed into a pile of bodies like a dead dog.
That pile consisted entirely of horse bandits, all with broken limbs, wailing miserably.
The sight of those limp, dangling limbs was thoroughly hair-raising.
Qin Tong, having been the primary instigator, was tossed straight to the bottom layer to serve as the foundation.
He was the one suffering the heaviest crush of all.
Still, a Tier 6 powerhouse possessed a resilient constitution; even buried under such a weight, he wouldn't suffer any fatal harm.
