Chen Bo was in urgent need of an escape route. But even if there was an exit, how was he supposed to find it? Suddenly, a spark of inspiration lit up in his mind. He reached into his system space, grabbed every source of light he could find, switched them all on, and tossed them ahead.

“Creak!”

“Creak, creak!”

The grating sound of bones scraping against each other echoed incessantly in his ears. Chen Bo shoved aside a few skeletons and smashed a towering beast skeleton several meters high with a single blow.

By now, he had no idea how many light sources he had thrown, but his vision had extended far into the distance. A kilometer ahead, there it was—a suspension bridge!

And on that side, there were no skeletal monsters! Only a veil of mist, the dangers within unknown—but compared to being eaten alive by skeletons here, it was a risk worth taking.

With his decision made, Chen Bo brandished his Gatling gun, sweeping left and right. Each swing sent several skeleton monsters flying apart.

He advanced steadily, stepping on countless bones with every step. None of these skeletal fiends were a match for him.

“Hahaha! What a bunch of weaklings! I honestly thought this time I’d be done for, but these little pests are surprisingly feeble. Not only is their defense pitifully low, their attack power is nothing to write home about either,” Chen Bo laughed heartily.

One skeleton, brandishing a massive blade, took advantage of his distraction and swung a heavy strike at him. But these skeletons lacked any cunning—they didn’t know where to strike to truly harm him. The blade only clanged against Chen Bo’s wristband.

“Clang!” A sharp sound rang out, a faint spark flickered, but Chen Bo’s wristband remained unscathed, while the skeleton’s blade snapped cleanly in two.

“Fools! With such low intelligence, they think they can cut down Chen Bo? Even if I stood still, they wouldn’t be able to take me down!” Chen Bo sneered, kicking the skeleton aside with ease.

“Now I finally understand why so many game pros flock to the newbie zones—it’s just so satisfying to slaughter these weak monsters! If there weren’t so many skeletons, I’d smash them all in a heartbeat!”

Mimicking the heroic laugh of a martial arts hero from a novel, Chen Bo quickened his pace. If only there was an experience and leveling system right now—how many levels would he have gained? Ha!

“Six six six six six six! Right now, I’m like a level ten elite monster, while these skeletons are just level three or four common mobs. No number of them can make up for the difference in strength.”

“Hey, is it really okay to call our beloved streamer a ‘monster’? Keep in mind, he has lots of diehard fans, most of them cute girls. Aren’t you afraid you’ll never find a wife if you keep calling him that?”

“Well, looks like he’s aiming to stay single for life!”

“I’ve successfully infiltrated the streamer’s official fan group—the main one! It’s full of pure, unspoiled girls: young lolis in their teens, sweet neighborhood girls in their twenties, and mature young ladies in their thirties! Haha, you losers must be jealous!”

“Don’t get too cocky. I bet when you try to log in, your password won’t work. Serves you right! Six six six six six six.”

“Savage comeback upstairs!”

“Savage comeback upstairs one.”

“Savage comeback upstairs two.”

“Savage comeback upstairs one hundred and ten.”

“Savage comeback upstairs ten thousand and eighty-six.”

“Why did 10086 show up again?”

Chen Bo was thoroughly enjoying the thrill of slaughtering monsters—it was exhilarating beyond words!

But his laughter quickly died down as his eyes widened. He seemed to have stumbled upon a boss—a towering behemoth over ten meters tall!

“What the hell? What is that?! Could it be a dinosaur? Are there dinosaurs here too?!” Chen Bo shouted in shock.

The massive skeletal monster before him was unmistakably shaped like a Tyrannosaurus rex, but with an extra horn on its head and a shorter, slimmer tail than a typical T. rex.

“Roar!!!” A deafening bellow nearly scared Chen Bo out of his wits. This giant skeletal beast could actually roar! He was genuinely gaining new knowledge here.

For now, he decided to call this colossal skeleton a Tyrannosaurus.

Two eye sockets larger than basketballs stared coldly at Chen Bo. Though it had no eyes, Chen Bo could feel the murderous intent radiating from within.

“What on earth is going on?! Damn it, how can such a powerful boss appear in the newbie zone?” Chen Bo cursed angrily. The T. rex blocked his path, so he had no choice but to take it down.

But its size was intimidating. Could he really defeat it? This creature was many times larger than him—one of its toes was twice the size of Chen Bo’s waist!

Yet from its gait, it seemed clumsy, just like the other skeleton monsters, as if it might topple over at any moment. He just didn’t know if the T. rex’s bones were as fragile as the others’.

Just as Chen Bo was lost in these musings, a gigantic foot slammed down from above. Luckily, he rolled aside just in time, landing squarely between two enormous toes.

Dust billowed, choking him into coughing fits.

“Screw you! How dare you step on me!” Chen Bo gasped for breath, then swung his Gatling gun fiercely at the T. rex’s huge toe bone.

“Boom!” A dull crack echoed as a thick fissure appeared on the toe. One more hit like that, and it might shatter completely.

Chen Bo felt a surge of hope. This T. rex wasn’t as tough as he’d imagined. Despite its massive size and strength, it bore all the weaknesses of the other skeletons: sluggish movement and low defense.

But that thought barely lasted ten seconds before thunderous footsteps echoed from both sides.

Looking left and right, Chen Bo’s face fell. There was a giant T. rex on either side, both targeting him!

He glanced behind—skeletal minions shambling toward him like a horde of zombies. It was a case of wolves in front and tigers behind.

“Damn! Is the streamer courting death with his own skill? If he hadn’t tangled with that first T. rex, he could have escaped easily!”

“Don’t underestimate the streamer’s talent for courting death. Even before his adventure, he often ventured into dangerous places just to tempt fate.”

“I wonder if he can actually take down all three T. rexes? I’m really looking forward to it!”

“Pfft, those three dragons are already dead. How can you kill the dead?”

“Then let’s whip their corpses!”

“Savage comeback upstairs!”
