Words Upon Release

It is time for the book to be officially published, and to be honest, I am a bit nervous. Truly, even though this is my second time going through this, the nerves are unavoidable.

I am filled with both anticipation and anxiety.

This book had no buffer of pre-written chapters. I began working as soon as the outline was revised, uploading every two thousand words as I finished them, leaving myself no room for error. Because I, Fox, do not want to disappoint my readers—I said I would upload at a certain time, so I did.

Things were a bit hectic at the start. I was only uploading two thousand words a day, taking nearly three months to reach one hundred and sixty or seventy thousand words. It was a bit sluggish, and even my editor-in-chief, Ying, remarked, "You are a bit too slow."

When people urge me on, I pull myself together. Since the fifteenth of this month, I have been writing six thousand words a day without the slightest lapse. I have uploaded one hundred thousand words in half a month, which is starting to look like something.

Reaching the publication stage with two hundred and sixty or seventy thousand words may not be a massive amount, but it is certainly not trivial. I sincerely hope to continue receiving the support of all my brothers after the official launch. Please do what you can to support the legitimate version; I would be eternally grateful.

My previous book went live with only one hundred and seventy-six followers, and while this one has double the followers at the time of its launch, I still feel uncertain. 17K has introduced many new policies, and I am working hard; perhaps with a little extra push from everyone, I can reach the top. Haha, my pillow is ready—is it time for me to start dreaming?

The same sentiment holds true: as long as I have the support of my brothers, I will keep writing with all my heart.

Someone in the group chat once asked me, "You say you never miss an update, but don't you ever get sick?"

I replied, "Of course I get sick. Who doesn't? But even when I am ill, I push through. When I remind myself that I am still a novice writer and that there are brothers waiting to read, I just grit my teeth and press on. What’s the worst that could happen?"

As you have all seen, I face difficulties head-on. Missing an update is simply not in my nature. As long as there is even one person reading, as long as there is even one person subscribing, I will continue this journey until the story is successfully completed.

When I have time, I write; when I am tired, I chat with everyone in the group. Life is simple and plain, but I have my pursuits: I hope for better results, more recognition, and even greater enthusiasm from you all. Can you grant this little wish of mine?
