Preface

The Fox has released a new book, and this time there will be no interruptions or pauses along the way. Now that the Fox has started working, there is much less time to write. For the time being, there will only be one update a day—I hope fellow readers can understand. I realize that mobile readers may not see these words; I’ll mention it in the chapters later on.

Such is life: even as we are battered by its trials, we must continue to struggle with all our might. The Fox is struggling now as well. Each day, by the time I return home, darkness has already fallen. Sometimes I am so exhausted that I can barely move. Yet, thinking of the readers awaiting new chapters, the Fox chooses to forgo comfort. I’m not trying to say how hard things are—only hoping you might lend a bit more support, with bookmarks, flowers, clicks, and, in the future, your subscriptions. For all this, I must rely on your kindness!
