As Masaki Keigo gave the order, the Interdimensional Disruptor was turned on. Visible purple ripples pulsed outward from the device. The surrounding team members were unaffected, but the empty patch of forest began to vibrate violently!

A golden, somewhat translucent pyramid appeared out of thin air! In just a few seconds, this nearly hundred-meter-tall pyramid stood firmly in the woods, looking exceptionally conspicuous!

Before Masaki Keigo could continue his train of thought, the earth shook violently!

The ordinary HUD team members lost their footing and fell to the ground, crying out! Trees swayed violently, some even being uprooted! The ground began to crack!

Not destroy these two monsters? Then what about the pyramid?

"Snap out of it!" Lin Yu commanded, then looked at Lucia. "Can you communicate with Tigris and Gual? I need to know why they are so angry."

Lucia nodded gently. "I will do my best!"

Indeed. These two monsters were the Crustacean Subterranean Beast Tigris and the Magma Subterranean Beast Gual, both appearing in *Ultraman Gaia*. They belonged to the subterranean beasts of Earth—native monsters born and bred on this planet!

In *Ultraman Gaia*, although they initially clashed with the defense teams and the Ultra, leading to battles and even their deaths, their other kin eventually fought to the death against the invaders known as the Root of Destruction. They were also the representatives of the "Light of Monsters" in the finale of *Gaia*.

The light born of Earth was never just the Light of the Earth, Gaia, or the Light of the Sea, Agul. It was also them! And the most famous among them... was the Earth Emperor Great Monster, Mangu!

This was the reason Lin Yu hadn't let Zetton or Eleking kill them, choosing instead to have Lucia attempt to communicate!
