Inside GUTS Wing 2, Vice-Captain Munakata and Rena watched the newly arrived Eleking with grave expressions.

"A new monster? And it appeared through a black hole—what on earth is its origin?!"

"Horii, analyze this monster and that black hole immediately!"

Vice-Captain Munakata contacted the GUTS headquarters via his intercom.

"Understood!" a solemn male voice responded.

"Daigo and Shinjoh are safe!"

Rena was also in contact with the crashed GUTS Wing 1. Fortunately, both Daigo and Shinjoh had successfully ejected and were unharmed.

"Gegi!"

Ignoring GUTS Wing 2, Eleking shifted its gaze toward Bemular.

So, this was the fellow threatening its "pooper-scooper," forcing it to stop eating to come and save the day? It was even more annoying than that meddlesome Seven it had been busy binding up earlier.

Without hesitation, golden electricity surged across Eleking's body. It raised its head high and let out a sharp, piercing shriek!

"Gegi!"

"Swoosh!"

Its thick tail lashed out violently toward Bemular!

The sheer force, capable of knocking back a multi-thousand-ton Ultraman, combined with a terrifying electrical current strong enough to boil a patch of ocean in an instant, struck Bemular. The horror on Bemular's beastly face appeared with startling clarity.

Watching the scene via satellite, Horii slammed his hand on the console and stood up.

"This electricity... it carries intense nuclear radiation! This guy is basically a walking, high-yield nuclear bomb!"

"No, it's far, far more powerful than any nuclear bomb!"

"Did it grow up eating nuclear energy?!"

Horii’s chubby face was filled with shock. How could such a creature exist? It wasn't scientific at all! Then again, this world wasn't scientific to begin with.

"Could this be the envoy of the Kyrieloid God mentioned by those fanatics?" speculated the youthful-looking Yagami.

"Whatever it is, Horii, you said this monster is a walking nuclear bomb, right?" Captain Iruma, whose mature charm kept her composed even in the face of two monsters, spoke up, causing Horii to pause. He immediately reacted, nodding vigorously.

"Exactly! If we kill this monster in the city, it will inevitably trigger a massive explosion upon death!"

"The power of that blast and the nuclear radiation..." Horii’s hands flew across his computer, showing a dexterity that belied his physique. A quick estimation made his expression even grimmer. "It would be enough to turn all of Tokyo into a dead zone! And that’s a conservative estimate!"

The GUTS headquarters fell into a terrifying silence. Munakata and the others on the other end of the comms had heard everything.

"Cease all attacks. Proceed according to the situation." After a few seconds of silence, Iruma issued the directive—a helpless choice.

...

Back on the battlefield, the actions of GUTS were clearly irrelevant. Eleking’s brutal assault was the sole focus of everyone’s attention.

"Boom!"

The sluggish Bemular couldn't dodge the attack and merely extended its short arms in a futile attempt to block. With a thunderous crash, Bemular’s twenty-to-thirty-thousand-ton body was sent flying! It soared high like a stray dog struck by a rampaging bull, then fell heavily.

"Crash!"

Bemular slammed into a skyscraper, crushing it to bits. The side of its body struck by the tail was visibly deformed, with terrifying electricity still arcing across it.

"Geou!"

A shrill, agonizing scream erupted from Bemular, chilling all who heard it. Before it could wail further, the thick tail descended again!

"Whap!"

It lifted, then fell.

"Whap!"

Again and again. Bemular was beaten into total submission; judging by Eleking’s momentum, it seemed intent on pounding the creature into pulp.

"Geou!"

However, as a Space Fierce Monster, Bemular had endured several blows, leaving its head and body severely deformed. Fearing its end was near, Bemular went completely berserk, its eyes turning blood-red! It roared, rolled to dodge another tail strike, and opened its maw.

A pale blue beam, far more intense than what had devastated the city earlier, spewed forth.

The Blue Heat Ray!

Bemular’s signature beam was a fearsome killing move—even the original Ultraman had chosen to dodge it rather than tank it with his chest!

Seeing this, Eleking grew even more irritated. This space-drifting, gecko-like bumpkin had ruined its meal, and instead of waiting patiently for death, it dared to fight back!?

"Gegi!"

Eleking raised its tail high again, using the lift to build momentum before bringing it down with a massive smash. Under Bemular’s disbelieving gaze, the tail shattered the Blue Heat Ray! After a momentary pause, the tail lashed out, coiled around the dazed Bemular, and hoisted it into mid-air.

The crescent-shaped antennae on its head rotated slightly as terrifying electricity surged from Eleking’s body. It unleashed the same high-voltage current that had once tortured Seven!

"Zzzzt!"

"Geou!"

One second, two seconds, three seconds. Eleking fired at full capacity. Under the horrified gaze of all watching, Bemular was scorched, thick black smoke rising from its body until... the tail uncoiled.

A large cloud of black ash scattered in the wind. Bemular was dead. It had arrived on Earth only minutes prior.

With Bemular dealt with, Eleking seemed to have vented its anger. It turned toward the direction of Lin Yu. The fierce giant monster grabbed its own head with its tail, its crescent eyes stopped spinning, and it sat down on the ground with a thud!

Its demeanor suddenly shifted to that of a憨-faced, slightly dorky pet, tilting its head as if a puppy waiting for its master's next command.

This terrified the members of GUTS and countless ordinary people. What kind of madness had taken hold of this monster?!

Only Lin Yu’s expression shifted from doubt to a relaxed, satisfied smile.

"Just like in the game!"

"When Eleking was still small, I raised it using the feed, fish, shrimp, and electricity I earned in the game."

"Back then, it loved to act just like this." Lin Yu muttered to himself, a touch of nostalgia in his voice.

[Successfully defeated Bemular. Congratulations, Host, you have obtained the qualification to raise Bemular!]

[The qualification for the fourth monster has been unlocked!]

[The fourth Ultraman TV series has been unlocked!]

[First victory achieved. Host has gained the skill: Ultra Psychokinesis!]

[Do you wish to recall Eleking?]

A series of notifications appeared on the Monster Raising Game interface. Lin Yu noticed that below Eleking’s stats, two new options had appeared: "Summon" and "Recall!" Along with the log viewer, growth level, and world location, there was quite a bit of information.

He glanced at the entries for Zetton and Five King; they also had "Summon" and "Recall," but they were greyed out. It seemed he needed to reach 100% growth to bring them into reality. And this first victory had even rewarded him with something as good as Ultra Psychokinesis—that was no trivial item!

"Recall!"

As Lin Yu tapped the button, a black hole appeared without warning, and in the blink of an eye, Eleking vanished along with it.

All that remained was a ruined city and a crowd of survivors cheering in the aftermath.

"What on earth... is happening to this world?"

In the city ruins below, Daigo, disheveled and holding his helmet, spoke with dull eyes.

The GUTS comms were silent. They wanted to ask the same thing. Too many questions piled up, eventually condensing into a hurried, two-word response:

"Return to base!"

Not far away, a young man’s face twisted in rage, his nails digging into his palms until he drew blood.

"Damn it! Which alien is it that's controlling monsters to ruin my plans!"

"It was supposed to go as the prophecy foretold: the sacred flames would incinerate the disaster from the stars, and the lost sheep would crawl at the feet of God!"

"All of this! You have destroyed it all!"

The man looked up, staring fixedly in the direction where Lin Yu had departed.
