Chapter 25: Executing All Enemies, Judgment from Zetton

"Gegi!"

Seeing Zetton, Eleking let out a long sigh of relief. Not content with just sitting on the ground, he simply laid down. His short claws made a strenuous effort to scratch his backside.

"I'm exhausted! Finally, Zetton is out! Now, the 'poop-scooper' doesn't have to keep sending me out to fight."

Eleking was not in good shape. He had fought Gudon, then the Alien Imperializer, and had been harassed by other monsters along the way. With insufficient rest, he had fought several battles in just these few short days. It would be a miracle if he weren't tired! Now that Zetton had taken over, he could finally rest.

Although Zetton was only acquired by Lin Yu after Eleking had entered the Seven TV universe, this did not mean the monsters were strangers to one another. Just as they could seek help from Lin Yu, they could communicate with each other, even across different TV universes. Moreover, since they were all raised by Lin Yu, mutual trust was a given!

"Space Dinosaur, Zetton?"

The Alien Imperializer, having brushed aside Sadola's pincers, was stunned. Why would a Zetton appear here? And it seemed to have blocked a blast from a human toy weapon?

Zetton’s head tilted slightly, turning its gaze toward him as well.

"Ze-tton!"

A dull, mechanical voice, devoid of life, emanated from the glowing yellow organ on Zetton’s face. The next moment, the antennae on Zetton’s head vibrated slightly, causing ripples in the air. That was the only signal.

His figure vanished instantly!

"Where is he?!"

The Alien Imperializer was shaken. Before he could react, a tremendous force struck his back. Teleportation! He was sent flying directly, tumbling awkwardly across the ground several times. That was merely a single strike from Zetton!

As a monster with 100% cultivation, Zetton was incredibly powerful. Even a formidable opponent like an original Alien Imperializer might not be a match for him. A wounded, ordinary Alien Imperializer stood no chance at all!

"Ze-tton!"

Coldly ignoring the Alien Imperializer, Zetton released several "Zetton Light Bullets" from the glowing yellow organ on his face, instantly obliterating the insolent Twin-Tail that had tried to charge at him.

Seeing that Zetton didn't take the opportunity to finish him off but instead went to clear out the small fry, the Alien Imperializer's pride exploded. No one had ever dared to ignore him!

The Alien Imperializer crossed his pincers and unleashed the "Ultra Killer Ray" that had previously wounded Eleking. The multicolored beam struck viciously at Zetton. The dim-witted Alien Imperializer clearly didn't understand what it meant to use a beam attack against Zetton.

"Zzzzzzt!"

Facing the Ultra Killer Ray, Zetton did not dodge or retreat. He extended his hands, forcibly catching the beam and drawing it into his chest. There was no explosion; instead, the energy was absorbed, melting away like snowflakes falling onto molten lava.

Under the incredulous gaze of the Alien Imperializer, Zetton pushed his hands forward, firing off boomerang-like waves of light that struck the Alien Imperializer squarely.

"BOOM!!"

In an instant, a small mushroom cloud rose. The Alien Imperializer was reduced to ashes. It was a complete rout, as easy as slaughtering a chicken!

It was indeed Zetton's ability to absorb and reflect energy. Zetton could absorb beam attacks and reflect them back with amplified power, making him the ultimate nemesis of light-based weapons. That was how the original Ultraman had died, and many subsequent Ultras had suffered greatly from this move. The Alien Imperializer had been killed by his own prized finishing move.

"Ze-tton!"

Zetton, having killed the Alien Imperializer, remained as impassive as ever, like a war machine that knew only how to kill. He turned his gaze toward Sadola and Telesdon. Only now did these two monsters seem to wake from their stupor, finally realizing what fear was. Trembling, they frantically clawed at the ground, desperate to escape.

But Zetton simply vanished once more. Like the Grim Reaper, he appeared silently behind them, bringing death. With one slash, Sadola’s eyes rolled back, his head split open, and he died. With one punch, Telesdon’s chest was pierced, his life snuffed out instantly.

Lin Yu looked at the fragments of the super-weapon R2 scattered after the explosion.

"Return, Eleking!"

A black hole opened, and Eleking was recalled to the Monster Star. Zetton walked a few steps forward and picked up a piece of the missile wreckage.

"But he is with Eleking; they both came from that mysterious black hole. Even Eleking just laid down after he appeared. He must be Eleking’s reliable big brother!" Rena speculated.

(Eleking: I won't argue with you about strength, but in terms of seniority, I'm the big brother, hey!)

"The ability to vanish and reappear, the immense strength and light bullets that can秒kill ordinary monsters, and the terrifying skill of absorbing and reflecting beams—this monster is even stronger than the Twin-Tailed monster, the tsunami-tornado monster couple, or the mechanical weapon codenamed King Joe that attacked the space station before!" As he mentioned Commander Matsunaga, all the excitement vanished from the group as if they had been doused with cold water. They, too, had been among those slated for sacrifice.

"That guy named Matsunaga! He actually wanted to sacrifice so many citizens!"
"If he had succeeded, what would be the point of our fighting? We wouldn't have protected anything at all!"
"I really should have shot that guy!" Aihara Ryu gritted his teeth.

"Let's go, let's go back and find him together!"
"He should be stripped of his position!"

"I just contacted Captain Lin Yu; he has already evacuated. He said the monster that just appeared is called Zetton, codenamed 'Space Dinosaur'."

The group, filled with righteous indignation, prepared to leave. But just then, Rena pointed toward Zetton, who was standing over the ruins in the distance, and exclaimed, "Look, what is Zetton doing?"

Everyone looked in that direction. They saw Zetton picking up the missile fragments. From their perspective, Zetton was bowing his head; although he had no eyes, the glowing yellow organ on his face flickered, looking as if he were studying the piece of wreckage.

"Don't tell me Zetton is going to... go take revenge on Commander Matsunaga?" Daigo tentatively offered a guess.

As if to verify his words, a breath later, Zetton looked up. He looked toward the sky! It seemed as if he were staring directly at the TPC headquarters that was monitoring the scene via satellite!

Disappear! Teleportation!

Inside the TPC headquarters, the relieved smiles on Iruma Megumi’s face gradually faded. Hori and Yazumi’s smiles turned into expressions of disbelief. Matsunaga, who had been wearing a face that said "How is this possible," "Why," and "R2 is invincible," likely wouldn't be smiling ever again.

"DONG!!"

The earth shook. They subconsciously looked out the window. A giant beast, fully 75 meters tall, stood there with an oppressive presence so heavy it made it hard to breathe. The TPC headquarters was tall enough that they were exactly at eye level with the giant beast.

He had no eyes, yet he gave people a hair-raising feeling of dread, as if they were being stared at by their most terrifying natural predator. That feeling of panic appeared in the hearts of everyone present.

Zetton had arrived.
