The Chronicles of Taiping’s Landscape is an artifact from Orb TV, known as the Forbidden Book. No one knows who authored this strange tome; all that’s certain is that it records numerous legends from various parallel Earths. For instance, it tells of the Demon Beast that runs throughout Orb TV! It also mentions figures like Dimaga, who appears in X; the ultimate villain Hell Yanma Beast—Saikogoku (though this is disputed) from the movie; and in the Geed movie, it recounts tales of Akagane, the Lion Sacred Beast, and Airu’s ancient battle against the Iron Demon. Some speculate that this Iron Demon is the Ultimate Judicator, Gilbaris! It also includes Holopolos from Zeta, Gaidos from Blazer, Rainbow Kagachi, Dorufu, and others. Beyond monsters, it records some special “humans.” For example, the aforementioned girl Airu and Princess Tamayura, the woman who helped Orb fend off the Magma Serpent. This is truly a remarkable book.
Just as no one knows the author of the Chronicles of Taiping, no one knows how many monsters it truly documents. Only fragments and tattered pages remain, much like myths and legends. The most maddening part is that the Earths guarded by the four Ultramen—X, Geed, Zeta, and Blazer—aren’t the same world. Yet, the Chronicles record them all.
Therefore, the heavily edited copy in Keigo Masaki’s hands is already precious. At least...
Lin Yu had no idea that this book even recorded the ancient monsters from Ultraman Tiga TV!
“Captain, is there a problem with the Chronicles of Taiping?” Keigo Masaki asked upon noticing Lin Yu’s strange expression. A gleam flashed in his eyes; he immediately sensed something was amiss.
It was very likely that Lin Yu also knew about the Chronicles.
“There’s a huge problem,” Lin Yu sighed, taking the book and leafing through it.
Indeed, it was severely damaged; this photocopy had only three pages, all a mix of text and images.
The first page showed a monster drawn in somber tones, rendered in an epic style with just a few strokes sketching out a slumbering giant beast.
Lin Yu recognized it immediately: this was Garura, whose corpse had not yet cooled!
Next to it was a description—not in modern language, so Lin Yu couldn’t understand.
Keigo kindly translated: “In ancient Earth, evil flowers bloomed, calamity stones served the malevolent gods, and glowing giants sank into ruin together.”
“I spent quite some time deciphering various ancient languages to translate these words,” Keigo said proudly.
To become a savior, his body had been honed by resilient will, forcing himself to learn one skill after another.
He looked quite pleased, but Lin Yu was less so.
What did “evil flowers” mean? Who were these “malevolent gods”? And “glowing giants”?
If this wasn’t describing the Zizera Flower, Gatanjea, and the story of the ancient Ultraman’s demise, he’d eat dirt!

Was Gatanjea still slumbering beneath this ill-fated Earth?

Seeing Golzan and Melba should have warned him not to be so hopeful.
Turning to the next page, the illustration was of a... pyramid!?
Lin Yu’s pupils contracted sharply; his heart pounded wildly.
Wasn’t this the pyramid where the statue of Tiga stood?
This too was recorded?!
Did that mean they could find Tiga?
Lin Yu signaled to Keigo with his eyes.
Keigo immediately understood.
“The land of despair watched over by the malevolent gods, not existing in the present world, luring ancient people in pursuit,” he translated.
Lin Yu found the translation hard to grasp.
If the “malevolent gods” referred to Gatanjea, then the pyramid was the despairing place under his gaze?
What was all this nonsense?
It didn’t even exist in the present world.
Ancient people chased after this thing to release Ultraman?
The timeline seemed off.
His head was spinning.
Two pages had stirred up a hundred pages’ worth of questions inside Lin Yu.
Flipping to the last page revealed a group of towering “humans.”
Beneath their feet were countless humans.
Some humans were growing larger, as if transforming!
These giants were surrounded by many ferocious monsters.
Clearly, these giants protected humanity against the beasts.
Their description was brief: “The unfallen giants.”
Keigo translated, his eyes fixed on the giants.
This was obviously Keigo’s true aim!
What he wanted was this!
The humans growing larger and the giants fighting monsters in this illustration filled him with ambition.
Perhaps, he too could become a giant!
A giant possessing the power to fight monsters!
“This page only has images and text, no location given, but it is my source of motivation. Without this image, I might have just regarded the Chronicles of Taiping as an interesting myth,” he said.

“So I am searching for the records mentioned on the first two pages.”
“To be honest, I’m more interested in that pyramid, and for it, I have tirelessly searched the world.”
“But found nothing.”
“Even Garura—no, rather, the calamity stone—was something I located only after many failures.”
“But I never found any giants there.”
Keigo sighed.
The first page mentioned not only Garura but also the fallen giants.
So he had gone, expecting something, but found nothing.
He nearly lost his life.
Lin Yu said nothing, merely rubbed his face.
“This copy of the Chronicles stays with me for now. HUD base personnel and resources are at your disposal. You can investigate the pyramid and the fallen giants. Don’t worry about wasting resources, but... don’t start digging yet.”
“Especially if anything unusual occurs, contact me immediately!”
Lin Yu said solemnly.
Indeed, he decided to let Keigo continue investigating the pyramid and Ultraman!
No matter what, Lin Yu needed to understand them.
The reason he forbade Keigo from digging was the fear that he might unearth a monster and wipe out the entire team.
Especially Gatanjea—who knew if it was sleeping beneath the Pacific or simply underground?
So first, scan and probe. Whether to dig or not would be decided later.
One must learn to be cautious!
“No problem, leave it to me, Captain!”
“This is only a photocopy; feel free to use it as you wish.”
Hearing this, Keigo paused, then his face lit up with unrestrained joy.
With HUD’s vast manpower and resources, his progress would be a hundred times—or no, ten thousand times—faster!
If he’d had such authority from the start, it wouldn’t have taken years just to find Garura.
“Go ahead. I’ll notify them of your authorization soon,” Lin Yu said, waving his hand as Keigo left happily.
“Gatanjea, huh...” Lin Yu sighed softly.
He glanced at the darkening sky outside the window.
Then looked at Jetton still dormant in the game, and the Five Emperors, whose training progress was only thirty percent.
“Tomorrow when I wake up, I’ll find a place to train the King Aire.”
“Golzan and Melba must be captured to raise the Five Emperors’ training level!”
Lin Yu thought of using the Sphere to heal Jetton’s injuries.
If he could gather all five materials to catch the Five Emperors in reality, perhaps their training level could max out and they’d come to his side.
It was late now; time to shed the day’s fatigue and sleep.
