The coup was about to be quelled, but unexpectedly, Hamud, who had clearly been shot and fallen to the ground, stood back up. Judging by his appearance, he seemed uninjured. Everyone was astonished; even a fool would understand that the soldier who shot him moments ago was not acting recklessly—this was clearly a premeditated act. At such close range, how could he have missed?

Hamud sneered coldly and tore open his outer garment, revealing that he was wearing a bulletproof vest.

“My dear brother, I never expected you to have planted a spy among my soldiers. But man’s plans are no match for heaven’s will... This is the latest bulletproof vest from America, truly a remarkable piece of equipment!” He shouted, “Soldiers, kill him! Every one of you will be promoted and rewarded!”

Faisal, however, remained calm and recited the Quran more loudly. Some soldiers, inspired by his faith, began to protect him, turning their guns against the intruders.

The soldiers who had just rushed in were initially unaware of the true situation. Seeing this chaotic scene, they dared not fire recklessly. The hall descended into turmoil—some swore loyalty to the prince, while others aimed their guns at him.

At that moment, a steady series of footsteps echoed outside the hall. Hamud knew these were likely hidden reinforcements arranged by the prince. He drew his gun, preparing to shoot Faisal.

But before he could aim, a strong hand gripped his weapon. A tall, young man stood before him, smiling softly. “I suppose it was you who arranged the missile attack on me, wasn’t it?”

Hamud’s heart sank. He had heard that two assassination attempts on this mysterious young man had failed, and had thought his subordinates were exaggerating his abilities to shirk blame. Yet now, seeing him appear suddenly before him despite having been in a distant corner moments ago, he recalled the man’s almost supernatural skills from their first meeting, and cursed himself for not trying to win over such an important figure.

Still, Hamud was a man of ambition. Even while restrained by this young man, he maintained his composure and said, “Sir, with your remarkable abilities, why serve the complacent Faisal? If you cooperate with me, once I unify the Arab world, I am willing to divide territories with you.”

To a ruthless conqueror like Hamud, the lives of others were insignificant as ants, but his own life was precious. He quickly made promises of shared power.

Unfortunately for him, this young man was not of his kind. On the contrary, he had a heart that mourned the world’s suffering and despised warlords who traded thousands of lives for glory. He chuckled and said, “Who knows about the future? But I fear those who strike from the shadows. Yes, I fear them. That is why I always extinguish such threats at the root.” He snatched Hamud’s pistol, broke his arm, and threw him at Nasir.

Hamud screamed in agony as he fell before Nasir. Just as Nasir tried to restrain him, the young man’s keen insight sensed something and shouted at Nasir, “Careful!” Then he smashed the gun in his hand toward Hamud.

With a thud, two guns clattered to the floor. Hamud had tried to struggle and had pulled out a hidden pistol to take Nasir hostage, but the young man’s insight detected it immediately. He grabbed the gun and struck Hamud’s head, knocking him unconscious.

Nasir promptly ordered the guards to bind Hamud. With their leader captured, the rebel soldiers who had been pointing guns at the prince immediately knelt down and swore loyalty to him.

With the situation stabilized, Faisal calmly issued one command after another, instructing his trusted men to quickly take control of key departments. He also ordered the release of the king, who had been held in solitary confinement.

The crisis was finally averted. Faisal specially thanked the young man for his assistance, though the young man knew that even without his help, the father and son duo could have handled the coup—albeit with more difficulty.

That night, Prince Faisal, ignoring the blood and dirt on his clothes, personally helped the guards arrange the placement of foreign envoys. Statistics showed that among the over 200 guests at the prince’s celebration banquet, more than 30 were killed and nearly half were injured during the coup.

Following this, the aging king made a public address via radio and television, announcing that the coup had been suppressed and that military camps, radio stations, airports, and other locations seized by the rebels were now fully controlled by troops loyal to the king. The king also declared that due to old age and frailty, he was unable to continue managing state affairs and that Prince Faisal, the first in line to the throne, would succeed him.

Prince Faisal already had significant prestige both domestically and internationally, so his accession was natural and faced no opposition. Especially since the ambassadors from various countries who had attended the banquet were grateful to Faisal for having once renounced his claim to the throne to save their lives. They sincerely offered their blessings. The young man knew that following this upheaval, the new king’s reputation on the world stage would only grow stronger.

Three days later, at the king’s coronation, Nasir went to invite the young man and his companions to the ceremony, but they had mysteriously vanished.

“Beep... Attention, Contract Squad: Upon entering the Grand Dimension Trading Space-Time, you officially receive the title of ‘Elect.’” It turned out their time to enter this Grand Dimension Trading Space-Time had come, and the young man had not even informed Nasir beforehand.

There was plenty of time ahead.

However, entering the Grand Dimension Trading Space-Time seemed complicated. They were first pulled into a space-time management chamber, where a large screen flickered continuously, issuing a warning: “The Grand Dimension Trading Space-Time, also known as the Trial Ground of the Gods, is a place of testing. Here, ‘Elects’ undergo trials. Your preferential protection time granted by this space-time management bureau has expired. You will face agents from various dimensions, and in certain scenarios, life-and-death struggles may occur. Upon promotion, this space will reward skills of equal level according to individual talents.”

“Warning: System scan shows some team members have not reached S-level strength. It is advised to avoid direct conflict with other ‘Elects’.”

“Notice: Your current attributes have been recorded. Your ‘Elect’ identity is unique.”

“Attention: Teleportation will begin shortly. Because the Grand Dimension Trading Space-Time is an independently created space, teleportation requires energy crystals. Each person will be charged ten high-grade energy crystals.”

A shimmering ripple passed over the central floor of the space-time management bureau, and a six-faced teleportation array—like one from a game—materialized. This array had five positions, each with ten slots, clearly meant for placing energy crystals to activate teleportation.

Ten high-grade energy crystals was no small sum; some lower-level dimensional agents might not even have so much wealth combined. Fortunately, since trading with the Silicate Dimension’s Southern Mountain, the young man’s group was never short of energy crystals. He immediately placed fifty crystals on the six-faced teleportation array.

“Six-faced teleportation array activated. Grand Dimension Trading Space-Time coordinates locked. Please enter the teleportation array!” The system prompted. One by one, the group stepped onto the array.

Instantly, a white light rose from beneath their feet, scanning them from head to toe, then from top to bottom back onto the array. A blinding flash ensued, and they felt a strange force pulling them, then they entered an endless void, faintly sensing movement through a corridor, as if ascending.

After a while, their surroundings brightened—the teleportation was complete. The young man looked around; they had arrived in a strange world. Behind them, the space seemed composed of nothingness—utterly silent and devoid of any aura. The sky was a void, sunless yet brilliantly illuminated. Beneath their feet was still the six-faced teleportation array.

As everyone surveyed their surroundings, Ziguai suddenly exclaimed, “Huh, why can’t we get out?”

The young man noticed a faint golden glow enveloping their bodies. Indeed, they were trapped. Then Gu Feng shouted, “Strange, it seems we are isolated outside this space.” As a grand mage specializing in space magic, he immediately sensed the anomaly.

While they were still astonished, the rigid voice sounded again: “Esteemed Elects, you have arrived at the Grand Dimension Trading Space-Time... Scanning... New ‘Elects’ detected according to Grand Space-Time Dimensional Laws. Your movements will be forcibly restricted. The system will now explain the laws of this dimension. Restrictions will be lifted in five minutes.”

“1. ‘Elects’ from different dimensions automatically receive a 30-square-meter personal space for free trade within this dimension.”

“2. This trading zone is a safe zone; no ‘Elect’ may attack another for any reason. Violation results in immediate erasure.”

“3. ‘Elects’ may build larger spaces within their granted 30-square-meter zone, but must not exceed its boundaries.”

“4. All transactions, regardless of method, offer no protection from this space.”

“5. ‘Elects’ must participate periodically in tasks assigned by this space. Failure to participate three times consecutively, for any reason, results in erasure.”

“6. ‘Elects’ may bring non-native entities into the Grand Dimension, but these entities must remain within one kilometer of their ‘Elect.’ Otherwise, erasure occurs.”

“7. ‘Elects’ must not reveal or display their identity to anyone from the Third Dimension, the Three Thousand Minor Dimensions, or countless micro-universes, including agents below their rank. Violation results in erasure.”

“Note: Except for the above regulations, this space does not prohibit combat between ‘Elects.’ Weaker individuals must be cautious. This space provides no guarantee for the safety of any ‘Elect’s’ life or property.”

As this stern announcement ended, the faint golden light surrounding them faded. The young man stepped forward—no longer restricted. Ziguai leapt out excitedly, shouting, “Oh! Grand Dimension, here I come!”

But Gu Feng quickly pulled him back, scolding, “You fool, you’re the weakest here! Didn’t you hear the warning? This place doesn’t forbid fights between ‘Elects’ and provides no protection for anyone’s life or property. We just arrived—be careful not to become someone’s sniper target.”
